Grant Arts brings together three forms of learning that are often separated: academic training, direct work with material, and contemporary design practice. Drawing, painting, sculpture and graphics establish a disciplined way of seeing and analysing form. Applied arts turn that understanding into physical making. Design courses carry the same attention to structure, composition and process into visual, spatial and digital projects.
Academic foundations and contemporary practice are treated as parts of the same education. The point is to understand where one strengthens the other and to move between them without losing either discipline or relevance.
ACADEMIC COURSES
Academic courses build the visual and structural foundation of the school. Students learn to analyse proportion, perspective, anatomy, tone, colour and composition through sustained work with form and observation.
APPLIED ARTS
Applied Arts connects artistic thinking with material knowledge. The work develops from sketch and idea through the technical stages of making, allowing students to understand how material, process, colour and craft shape the final object.
DESIGN
Design courses develop the ability to organise information, space and digital form through clear project logic. The programmes combine composition, visual systems, technical knowledge and contemporary tools, with an emphasis on turning ideas into complete, presentable outcomes.
PREPARATION FOR ADMISSION
Admission preparation is organised around the actual requirements of the chosen field and exam subject. Students first build the necessary foundation, then move into exam-specific tasks and finally practise under conditions close to the examination itself.
