ABOUT GRANT ARTS

Grant Arts is a learning environment for people who want to build a strong artistic foundation and develop it through contemporary professional practice.

At the centre of the programme is a systematic approach: understanding form and structure, spatial thinking, composition, colour, and material. These skills create a shared foundation for academic disciplines, applied arts, and design.

Grant Arts programmes are designed both for applicants preparing for creative university programmes and for people who want to build or deepen professional skills in art and design.

Approach to Learning

Fundamental skills are not separated from practice. Drawing, painting, and the study of form develop the ability to see and analyse; material-based disciplines build an understanding of process and making; design programmes translate this foundation into project work and contemporary tools.
