ABOUT GRANT ARTS
At Grant Arts, creative training starts with a basic discipline: learning to see, analyse and understand form with clarity.
Academic disciplines and contemporary design are taught as connected parts of one education. Drawing, painting, sculpture and graphics develop observation, proportion, spatial thinking, composition and control of form. Applied arts add direct knowledge of material and production, while design courses carry the same foundation into visual, spatial and digital project work. Software is treated as a tool within that process, not as the subject of the course.
Who It Is For
The programmes are designed for different stages of development. Some students come to Grant Arts to prepare for university entrance examinations. Others want to build a professional foundation in a new discipline, strengthen skills they already use, or expand an existing creative practice.
Approach to Learning
Courses are organised as sequences, not as collections of unrelated exercises. Skills are introduced in an order that moves from foundations toward increasingly independent work. Depending on the discipline, that may mean moving from construction to observation, from material studies to a finished object, or from design principles to a complete project.
Across disciplines, technique is taught together with the reason behind each decision: how it is constructed, why it works and what it contributes to the finished result.
