SCULPTURE

The course develops academic foundations in sculpture and three-dimensional creative thinking, progressing from basic forms to anatomy, movement, composition, moulding, and casting.

Programme

Module 1

Material; simple anatomical forms; human proportions; skull structure; construction of the head; work from life.

Module 2

Bone and muscular structure; body proportions; movement and dynamics; fundamentals of volumetric composition; development of creative thinking.

Module 3

Moulding; casting techniques and types; interpretation and presentation of the final work.


How You Learn

Practical assignments progress from foundational skills to more complex study or project tasks. This section will later be replaced with a course-specific description of the teaching method and format.


Outcome

A practical understanding of volume, anatomy, and sculptural process — from constructing form to presenting the finished result.
